Applications

NAM has created a core group which is currently working on innovative mobile applications for the fast growing mobile market. NAM is offering a comprehensive program to train the professionals on various mobile development platforms including Android and I Phone. Some live projects are being taken up to give real time experience to the consultants. Some of these applications will be released commercially as well. NAM is doing road shows in NJ to show case its mobile applications. Few applications under development are Wardrobe Manager, Food 4 Friends and Family Tree.

Ward Robe Manager

NAM has started work on the development of this application

Here are the key features.

The application will enable the user to create, manage, add, delete, schedule, order, donate , discard , set preferences for his/her wardrobe items.

All these functions will GUI based and most of the items can be attached to graphical images.

The Wardrobe manger will also link some RSS feeds for preferred sources with application and provide some alerts for key new arrivals.

Create - Will allow user to create the wardrobe for the first time.

Manage - Will allow user to mange his wardrobe – moving items around, adding loaners, returning loaners, laundry etc

Add - For adding new items.

Delete - For deleting items

Schedule - To set schedule for weekly, week end, dates, parties, events and suggested wardrobe items. An alert will be sent if item is not in the wardrobe and has been loaned or sent for laundry.

Order - Will allow user to set up alerts for ordering below a thresh hold level.

Donate - Will allow user to set up time period for donating or mark items for donations.

Discard - for discarding the non usable items.

Set Preferences - Will allow user to set color choices, brand choices, choose RSS feeds, set alerts, thresh hold levels etc.

Food 4 Friends

This application allows user to mine data about the food choices of your friends. You want to invite your friend for dinner, don't know which kind of food they like, Mexican or Italian??????????? You want to surprise your relatives and friends by preparing their food choice, but confused on what they like and how to prepare???? Now Don't worry this application will do everything that you wish for your friends and relatives.Food 4 Friends is a product that enables you to view the food cuisine styles and the food choice made by your friends. Also it allows to view the recipes of the foods that are preferred by the friends.

  • User can pick a friend by viewing the contact list or adding a new friend. This would automatically update the contact list too.
  • It allows the user to pick a food cuisine style that is preferred by the friend.
  • It allows user to make a particular food choice of the friend under a particular cuisine.
  • It allows the user to view the recipe of the food chosen for the friend.
  • User can add, view any recipe of his choice.
  • User can share the data with the friends through Face book and Twitter connectivity.
Family Tree

Family Tree is a viewer and recording android application for Genealogy Database. It helps you store and maintain family chart going back generations.

You’ll be able to quickly check upon your family relationship, dates, location of the event right on your android phone. You won’t need a PC or internet connection as everything would be saved on your phone. This is a really easy way to connect to your current extended family and keep record of your ancestors and get to know about your family history.

  • This Application provides users to enter information about them , their extended family and their ancestors.
  • It allows user to save the information onto the phone. Saved information includes lot of personal information like Birthdays , Anniversaries , locations , addresses ,email, contact number etc.
